Lowell Street (Rt. 129) paving project continues through June

Paving work along Lowell Street (Route 129) is ongoing and expected to continue through the end of June, weather permitting. The project includes both daytime and nighttime construction, so residents and commuters are encouraged to plan accordingly and use caution in work zones.

Beginning on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 8:00 pm, crews from Cassidy Corp. will begin overnight paving on a key segment of Route 129 - from Bond Street to Parkman Road. Night work will take place between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am, and is scheduled to minimize disruption to daytime traffic.

This resurfacing project is part of an ongoing effort to improve road conditions and safety in this area. Drivers should expect periodic lane closures and detours during active work hours.
