Community Forum to discuss Killam School and ReCAL projects set for April 16

Residents are invited to join town officials and project leaders for an important virtual community forum on two major initiatives coming before voters this spring: the Killam Elementary School Building project and the Reading Center for Active Living (ReCAL) project.

The forum will be held on Zoom on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 pm and can be accessed by clicking this link.

This joint session will provide residents with:

  • An overview of each project’s goals and timeline

  • Updates from project leaders and town staff

  • A detailed look at the anticipated financial impacts for residents

  • A chance to ask questions and learn more about upcoming decisions

These capital projects represent significant investment in the future of Reading - one focused on educational infrastructure and the other on community wellness and senior services.

Missed the in-person forum?

An earlier in-person forum was held on April 2, offering a first look at these proposals. If you missed it, you can watch the full recording here on the RCTV Youtube page.
