Come to a Community Garden Party this Friday at the Reading Public Library!

Reading Public Library (RPL), Reading, MA—Dig into summer with your neighbors at our Community Garden Party! Whether you have a green thumb or just want to enjoy the longest day of the year, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The focus of this event is showcasing all of Reading's wonderful health, green, and outdoor resources—from the Reading Garden Club to the Town Forest Committee to the Scouts and more local organizations. Join us on the Library Lawn from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. You’ll find:

  • Ice Cream

  • Activities and crafts (all ages)

  • Local Resources Showcase

Enjoy a sweet treat on the longest day of the year while learning about Reading's many green and gardening community resources. All activities and refreshments are free and open to the public.
