Yom Hashoah Ve-Hagevurah, which translates to the “Day of (Remembrance of) the Holocaust and the Heroism.” This day honors the memory of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, as well as the resilience and bravery of survivors and those who resisted Nazi persecution.
Yom Hashoah is commemorated annually on the 27th day of Nisan, one week after the seventh day of Passover. On this day, we reflect on the lessons of history, remember those who perished, and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that such atrocities are never repeated. Let us take a moment to honor their memory and stand against hatred and intolerance in all forms.
