Joint Community Forum: Killam School & Reading Center for Active Living

The Town of Reading invites residents to participate in a Joint Community Forum on two significant projects coming before the community this Spring: the Killam School Building Project and the Reading Center for Active Living (ReCAL) project.

Event details

  • In-person forum: Wednesday, April 2 at 7:00 pm at the RMHS Performing Arts Center (PAC)

  • Virtual forum: Wednesday, April 2 at 7:00 pm via Zoom

These forums will provide an opportunity for residents to hear from town officials and project leaders about the plans for both projects, including potential benefits and financial impacts for the community. Attendees will have a chance to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of how these projects aims to enhance Reading’s educational and community spaces.

The Killam School Building Project seeks to replace and modernize the existing facility to meet the growing needs of students and educators. Meanwhile, the ReCAL project aims to provide dedicated space for seniors and community members to engage in wellness, recreation, and social activities.

For more details on both projects, visit the Town of Reading’s website.
