Grow together at the Community Garden Party - June 20 on the Library Lawn

The Reading Public Library invites residents of all ages to dig into summer at its annual Community Garden Party on Friday, June 20, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm on the Library Lawn.

Whether you’re a passionate gardener or simply looking for a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, this family-friendly event has something for everyone. Attendees can enjoy:

• Ice cream

• Crafts and activities for all ages

• A Local Resources Showcase highlighting Reading’s gardening and sustainability efforts

Held on the longest day of the year, the Garden Party is a celebration of community, growth, and connection. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet neighbors, explore local green initiatives, and enjoy a summer evening with something sweet in hand.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required - just show up and enjoy!
