All-night parking ban lifted on public streets

Effective last night, the all-night parking ban on public street in Reading has ben lifted. Residents and visitors will now be able to park overnight without restriction on town streets.

However the overnight parking ban will remain in effect for all town=owned lots, including:

  • Upper Haven Street Lot (CVS lot)

  • Lower Haven Street Lot (Brande Court/Atlantic lot)

  • Harnden Lot

  • Senior Center lot

Town officials advise that if snow is predicted, the full overnight parking ban will be reinstated to allow for proper snow removal and road maintenance.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed of weather-related parking changes to avoid potential violations.
